On Saturday, March 28, 2009 women from RUMC got together with girls from the Girl Scouts to do two things. The women shared their love of sewing with a new generation and the girls from Charlie Krawchuk's and Ellen Dennis' Girl Scout troop made school bags for overseas children. The bags, filled with supplies from our church congregation, will be taken to Annual Conference in May. So far, approximately 35 bags have been sewn and are ready to be filled!
