January 3--Hospitality devotional distributed during each service.

 

January 10--Sermon #1 on Radical Hospitality.  Worship devotional distributed.

 

January 17--Sermon #2 on Passionate Worship.  Faith Development devotional distributed.

 

January 24--Sermon #3 on Intentional Faith Development.  Risk-Taking devotional distributed.

 

January 31--Sermon #4 on Risk-Taking Missions. Generosity devotional distributed.

 

February 7--Sermon #5 on Extravagant Generosity. Ministry Fair during Fellowship Hour.

 

February 14--Ministry Fair during Fellowship Hour.

 

February 28 and March 7--

Planning Sessions are scheduled for consecutive Sunday afternoons between 2:00 and 4:30 pm. 

The objective of this series is to brainstorm for ways to incorporate the Five Fruitful Practices

into the life and DNA of our church by a three fold approach: 

 

1)  To examine and evaluate the fruit from what the church is currently practicing;

2)  To discover how we might consolidate and improve our existing efforts as well as

     explore new ones; and

3) to construct a plan-of-action for our ministries and committees. 

 

This is an opportunity to offer input into the vision and course of direction for RUMC in 2010. 

The Planning Sessions are open to the entire congregation.  Detailed information is forthcoming.
